Apple Pie + Green Bean Soup

This was my first trial on baking pie. It was apple pie, and surprisingly tasted good. The making process was simple, as easy as ABC! I did not made the pie's filling, though. I bought the filling in can from store. However, the only effort that I had put on the pie was the crust, especially the braided-crust cover on top of the pie. This was the only part that I felt proud of myself (hehe..).
The apple pie tasted perfectly delicious. It was neither too sweet nor too sour (thanks to the brilliant choice of xxx brand apple pie filling). Anyway, I think I should try to make the apple pie's filling next time, instead of buying the canned filling from the store.

This was a very very ordinary 'tong soi' back home, namely green bean tapioca soup. The green bean soup remind me of my dad. He always make green bean soup during damn hot day because green bean soup is a good drinks to prevent us get 'heat'. I personally love green bean soup because I was fond of the bean's distinctive smell and the 'sandy' liquid feeling when swallowing the soup into the mouth.
